Idrica Wastewater platform dashboard

Idrica Wastewater

UX/UI for wastewater operations, monitoring, and decision-making

While working at Idrica, a Valencia-based company focused on digital transformation for the water industry, I contributed to the UX/UI design of a desktop platform created to support the management of wastewater treatment plants. The product brought together monitoring, alarms, infrastructure hierarchies, maps, and operational data into a single environment designed for technical teams.

The challenge was not only functional, but structural: translating complex industrial workflows into a digital product that felt legible, efficient, and dependable. The design approach prioritized clarity, hierarchy, and calm interaction patterns, helping users move between dashboards, maps, and alert systems with less friction and better situational awareness.

Idrica Wastewater interface in control room context

Designing for industrial software means turning operational complexity into visual clarity.

The interface system was shaped to support real operational contexts: dense information, multiple decision layers, and a need for fast visual parsing across dashboards, tables, and geographical views.
